Let's Drive A Chevy Corvette Z06 (Z07 pkg, auto) Around The Figure Eight

Here's a figure eight lapping session in an automatic, Z07-package Corvette Z06. As we later learned, the previous Z06 we tested had 2.0 degrees of rear caster (yes, rear caster), which created a lot of instability. This car had the correct alignment. I started the lapping session with PTM engaged in Track and the auto left in drive. These laps weren't very smooth, but they were fast. I later turned everything off and switched to manual control over the shifts, and I preferred this setup on the figure eight. While the laptime didn't improve, this car was far more consistent -- and way more enjoyable -- than the previous Z06. I would've kept lapping it if I had the time. Awesome car!
