However, for Nasir (48), this situation has actually become an opportunity to expand his business on Tuesday (7/7/2026). The owner of Warung Keripik and Cafe Kutaraja Premium moved his business from the Sare area to Padang Tiji in 2025. Thanks to the new location on the edge of the Medan–Banda Aceh Highway, right before the Padang Tiji Toll Gate, his business is now increasingly busy with motorists. Nasir said that since the toll road's operation, the number of customers in Sare has decreased drastically because many vehicles choose to use the toll road.
