We Installed Doors & Windows ... in a Concrete Wall 🪟

With the harsh Michigan winter looming right around the corner we needed to get the doors and windows installed fast. However, installing windows and doors into a concrete wall was new to me. Figuring out how to flash the windows into the concrete block and seal the openings required a bit of research. Luckily I found the perfect flashing tape for the job. SIGA Fentrim is perfect for adhering to concrete, without primer, even in cold temperatures. After getting the windows and doors in place we were able to seal up the gaps around the window opening using DAP No Warp Window & Door Sealant.
