The new Toyota but Bus version (the unique paint job of a school bus conversion) Welcome to another episode of Elizabeth painting and Shane building......Just kidding this video is all about painting the bus Sorry it has been a while, we were busy traveling around and spending our first few months in the bus and working on some other touches. Painting a school bus. Step 1 - get rid of all decals/reflectors (we used goo-off at home depot) https://www.homedepot.com/p/Goof-Off-... Step 2 - get a palm sander and sand every inch of the bus, I probably missed a few spots, but its our and its hand painted so what. Step 3 - find any rusty spots on the bus and fix with either metal or sand off. Step 4 - SANDDD!!!! Step 5 - get microfiber towels and mineral spirits and clean the entire bus (not in the video) Step 6 - use a sponge and soap and then clean the bus (not in the video) Step 7 - READY TO PAINT! Us deciding and pursuing to build a Skoolie as our home on wheels was an easy decision for us but a huge project. However, Shane loves projects so he is super excited to show all of you our journey from the beginning of our bus build throughout the entire process.
