The Fountaine-Neimy Butterfly Collection • Natural History with Norwich Castle
Senior Curator Dr David Waterhouse introduces you to the Natural History and Geology Collections at Norfolk Museums Service, with a special focus on the internationally significant Fountaine-Neimy Butterfly Collection. This contains a lifetime’s work by the extraordinary naturalist Margaret Fountaine, who travelled across six continents in the late 19th and early 20th century, collecting, studying and sketching thousands of butterflies and caterpillars.
