Slender Man [tribute] Seeing Red Again

Slender Man: "Not even a bug in this game can save you from me." Happy Halloween my friends! We all love the season of horror and the chaos that comes with it, and I know everyone will upload a video to celebrate it, and I decided that mine will be the face of the creepypasta medium, ironically he doesn't have a face, the Slender Man. Now Slender Man is not the first creepypasta, far from actually, I'm pretty sure that title belongs to Ted the Caver, but he is the most famous one. He dominated the internet in the late 2000s and early 2010s and spawned many stories. And I think there are three reasons he became so famous: his design, mystique and powers. I'll talk about each of them now. 1) Design. Slender's design is fantastic because it takes the human form that we're familiar and comfortable with and twists slightly but noticably that it doesn't look human anymore. He's tall and thin, but in an abnormal way, almost tall as a tree and his arms are long as well. His head looks normal, but he doesn't have a face, just blank and pale white like a mannequin (some depictions give him a smooth face while others give him the placements of facial features like eye sockets which are missing). He appears to wear a suit like a human, but it almost looks like he's mimicing one to taunt his victims. Something interesting about the 2018 movie is that his suit isn't actually a suit but a part of his skin that resembles a suit, cool concept wasted on a bad movie (Javier Botet is still the best part of it, he was the perfect casting for Slender). His design is doing its job for the scare factor. 2) Mystique. Despite being so popular nothing is really known about Slender. It's unknown if he's a monster, demon, alien, an angel, a god, a devil, or even a human, his origins and true identity are a complete mystery. Same goes for his motives. He doesn't have a true endgame goal, no one knows why he's making people and especially children to disappear and what he's doing with them. This lack of origin and motive adds to his charm and horror. 3) Powers. Slender is a mind breaker, he makes people go insane and question reality. That power belong to a lot of horror villains and for a good reason, psychological horror is one of the scariest. In all of the stories that involve Slender he barely appears physically despite veing the main villain in them, but he's always present. His victims are not always aware he's near and he's slowly turning their brain into a destroyed lego set, he's making people break bonds with their loved one, making them either anxious or depressed or both, he doesn't let them sleep or live normally, giving them hallucinations or nightmares, he's making sure his victims won't fight back even if they can. You can fight against many horror villains, but against Slender Man there's nothing you can do, he'll get what he wants and there nothing that can stop him Jeff the Killer tried to fight him and failed. Slender was an internet icon, he made quite the influence and is still known today. I still love him and think he's an amazing horror icon, not in games or movies but in internet culture. One of my favorite horror creatures for sure. I was looking forward to making this tribute, I knew excatly how I want some parts to look, especially the audio from that "police recording", and I'm happy with that result a lot. I had difficulty to manage with all that footage at times but I dealt with it. Originally I wanted use this song for CatNap months ago but I decided it didn't fit, luckly Slender came for the rescue, and it fits his aura too, it's slow and creepy and builts up tension and by the end it's intense and then fades.
