They have garnered numerous prestigious awards like Shanmukha Sangeetha Shiromani, MS Subbulakshmi fellowship from Shanmukhananda Sabha, Mumbai , Yuva Purandara, Sangeeta Mudhra, Isai Arasi, and recognition from the Central and State government. They are both gold medalists and A grade artists of the All India Radio and have been featured in the distinguished National Programme of AIR. They are disciples of their grandmother Smt. Shanthi Jayaraman and world renowned composer and musician Sangeet Samrat Chitravina Shri N Ravikiran. Known for their collaborations with esteemed personalities like Pt. Birju Maharaj, Dr. Vyjayantimala Bali, Prof. C V Chandrashekar their artistry has been lauded by connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike. Their continued work with Shri Dushyanth Sridhar in taking our culture and scriptures across the world has made the collaboration one of the most successful ones in the field. Anahita and Apoorva are the youngest to perform in the noble initiative, Artistes for the Armed Forces, as part of which they were able to take classical music to those serving the country and their families exclusively. Aside, they were also the only Indian classical musicians to perform with the iconic Indian Air Force Symphony, AWSO a one of its kind orchestra comprising solely of those serving the Indian Air Force. Having been on many tours across India and countries like USA, Australia, New Zealand and UAE, Anahita and Apoorva are also passionate gurus with students around the world. Anahita plays the Chitravina while Apoorva is a Violinist.
