Saudi Arabia's Hidden Food Gems in Medina During Ramadan | Full Food Tour

In this video I explore some of Saudi Arabia’s hidden food gems in Madinah during Ramadan 🇸🇦 combining a full food tour with deep history and spiritual significance. I start my day at Bustan Al Mustadhal, a historic garden believed to be among the first places the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ arrived when he entered Madinah. During Ramadan this area transforms into a unique experience with a special iftar buffet that only takes place during this time of year. I take you inside to show what people eat here and what makes it so special. From there I head to Masjid Quba, the first mosque in Islam, where I break my fast for Maghrib. I explain the importance of this mosque and why praying here holds such a special reward. The atmosphere during Ramadan in Madinah is something truly unmatched. After Maghrib I return to explore more historic sites, including the Ethiq Well (Bi’r Ethiq), a well the Prophet ﷺ is known to have drunk from. Being here connects history, food, and spirituality all in one journey. Of course no trip to Madinah is complete without trying foods connected to the Sunnah. I try Talbina, known as one of the Prophet’s favorite comfort foods, and explain what it is and why it’s still eaten today. I also explore Madinah’s famous date culture, trying unique desserts including date ice cream and other local specialties. Next I visit Al Romansiah, one of the most famous restaurants in Saudi Arabia, to try their iconic camel meat dishes and experience a more modern side of Saudi cuisine. To end the night, I head back to the Quba Ramadan Market, where the streets come alive after Taraweeh. Here I try fresh luqaimat and explore one of the most vibrant night food scenes in Madinah. Ramadan in Madinah is more than just food. It is a spiritual experience, a cultural journey, and one of the most unique times to visit this blessed city.
