It’s hard to form an unbiased opinion of a FIFA World Cup, especially when your team does quite well in it. Well, that’s the problem I have with 2018. It’s probably a step back, in terms of quality from 2014, but then again 2014 didn’t have England winning on penalties, Slabhead scoring in a quarter final and Kieran Trippier peaking this tiny little pathetic island’s life.
