Southwold's Wildflowers: A Seven-minute Seafront Safari

The wildflowers on Southwold seafront are so beautiful, I had to capture them. This video showcases the diversity of species on the cliffs, where sandy, low-nutrient soil provides a perfect start for most wildflowers - as long as they're robust enough to withstand our east coast winds! Species featured include: Common Poppy, Viper's Bugloss (the blue spikes), Corncockle (pink), Common Mallow (pink flowers, mostly closed in this clip, broad leaves), Yarrow (white), Slender Thistle, and more besides. There are many more species in bud at the moment, so even when the poppies are finished, there will still be plenty to see.
