A: Because I want my builds to be accessible to anyone, without depending on the randomness of getting a Riven for that weapon, and the impossibility of it having the same stats. Making a build with Riven would feel like lying to my community, showing a result they couldn't easily replicate. Q: WHY DON'T YOU USE WARFRAMES THAT IMPROVE WEAPONS? A: For the same reason as Riven. I want someone to be able to make the build knowing it hasn't been boosted by external means. This way, whoever makes the build will get the same result as me, and then everyone can buff it as they wish. Q: IF I HAVE THE SAME MODS, BUT THEY'RE NOT MAXED OUT, DOES THE DAMAGE CHANGE MUCH? A: Yes. Having lower-level mods and arcana will result in lower damage (obviously). Q: IF I'M USING THE SAME MODS AND ARCANA, AND THEY'RE MAXED OUT, WHY AREN'T I DOING THE SAME DAMAGE? A: You probably skipped the build explanation, and on top of that, you didn't read the mods you installed. Many require conditions to activate, like headshots, kills, aiming... And in the case of melee weapons, it's VERY important to charge the combo... That x12 makes all the difference. Q: DON'T YOUR ALLIES BOOST YOUR DAMAGE OR RESISTANCES? A: No, in fact, you can check it for yourself, since ALL builds are tested live, and before going in, I always tell them that they can't have anything that could boost what I'm going to have.
