The missing Hajj pilgrim in Mecca, Muhammad Firdaus Akhlan (72), was finally found dead on Friday (May 22, 2026). According to the chronology provided by the Saudi Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH), the pilgrim, who had embarked from the Jakarta embarkation point, was found by Saudi Arabian soldiers on patrol early Friday morning at around 2:00 a.m. Saudi Arabian time.
