BLT High-Speed elevators with STEP Destination Dispatch — AFI Tower, Moscow, RU

Someday I won't dissapear for a few months after a new video, but that will be a different story. Anyway, I fully redesigned my channel's signature style and I am ready to come back once again with really interesting content. A small spoiler: next videos will be from such countries, which you haven't seen on my channel before. This time we have got some Chinese BLT (Shenyang Yuanda) elevators from 2024 with the speed of four meters per second! They're located in AFI Tower, a 52-floor highrise in the northen part of Moscow nearby Botanical Garden and famous VDNH exhibition. It was constructed by AFI Development, an Israel-based construction company with their projects all over the Europe. For example, they also have such properties in Moscow as AFImall, AFI Gallery and two office complexes. I have absolutely no idea, why they made such a strange choice of elevators, but it makes the case unique. AFI Tower has got eight similar main lifts in total: four in two groups. All of them are 4m/s BLT-QS with the capacity from 10 to 13 passengers, no floor selection buttons inside and rare (yeah, what a surpise) Shanghai STEP destination dispatch panels outside. The fixtures' design doesn't really match my taste, they are rather boring, and the interface on destination selection panels looks a bit outdated. However, I must say that STEP DD system works rather efficient! The lifts themselves run and level fast (as you know, that is not typical for Chinese "generics" at all), so they are not overcrowded, although the building has got over 1150 flats. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised and even amused by the work of these BLTs.
