No fluff, just the journey. In this video, I climb South Sister, the tallest of the Three Sisters and one of Oregon’s most iconic volcanoes. Starting from the Devil’s Lake trailhead, the route begins in forest before breaking out into open alpine terrain with stunning views of Broken Top and Moraine Lake. The upper mountain turns to red volcanic rock and loose pumice as the trail winds past Lewis Glacier to the crater rim.
