The interview provided a comprehensive overview of the direction of intensive livestock farming in Brazil compared to international market giants such as the United States, Australia, and Argentina. The central thesis defended is that the "free range" model, that is, production based on sustainable grazing combined with the strategic use of supplementation and feedlots, should guide the evolution of the intensification of Brazilian livestock farming.
