The Ashtavakra Gita — The Radical Path of Self-Knowledge

The Ashtavakra Gita is one of the clearest and most uncompromising expressions of Advaita Vedanta. Presented as a dialogue between the sage Ashtavakra and King Janaka, it points directly to the nature of consciousness, the illusion of separation, and the freedom that is said to be our true nature. This edition features my own narration throughout, together with original introductions, reflective commentary, and closing thoughts that place the teachings in a broader philosophical and contemplative context. The visual presentation, pacing, editing, music selection, and on-screen quotations have also been created and arranged by me to provide a thoughtful listening and viewing experience. Whether you are encountering the Ashtavakra Gita for the first time or returning to it after many years, I hope this presentation offers a space for careful reflection on one of the world's most profound spiritual texts.
