Cómo Probar BOMBA DE GASOLINA con multimetro SIN DESMONTAR

SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/@JPenagos?sub... We can test the fuel pump with a multimeter by taking several voltage and resistance measurements. The fuel pump's voltage and resistance measurements show whether it is working properly or if there is a short or open circuit. It is necessary to identify the fuel pump relay in the car's engine fuse box and then remove it. With the battery connected and the fuel pump relay removed, we measure voltage across the corresponding relay power terminals. We will find that one terminal has the 12-volt battery voltage and the other does not. On the fuel pump relay socket terminal that has no voltage, we will later measure the resistance relative to the negative terminal of the battery or the car's chassis. This resistance indicates the good or bad condition of the fuel pump motor WITHOUT REMOVING THE FUEL PUMP. A resistance value of 1 OHM TO 2 OHMS indicates a fuel pump in good condition. If the resistance value is higher, then the fuel pump is damaged and the fuel pump motor or battery must be replaced (see video for other IMPORTANT details). If the value is very close to ZERO OHMS, then the fuel pump is shorted. This condition is confirmed if the fuel pump fuse blows every time it is installed.
