Hey Mamas, History PT. 2 is here and I am so excited to share how I am building a unit study with the African American perspective of the United States. This will be the first 3 months of our History and geography curriculum for the 2020 -2021 homeschooling in the Fall for second grade. Raising two biracial children who have the privilege to see the world in a new way, it is my honor to give them access to several perspectives of how the country we live came to be. The African American experience is often missing in our traditional history books and curriculums and it breaks my heart. So I am changing the narrative by creating this study.
