We saw the boardwalk, collecting rainwater and resembling a pier suspended over the ocean. The marshland's approximately 1,800 ponds (puddles) receive rainwater and transform into a vast ocean. After the rain, Ozegahara was a watery paradise, with boardwalks running over geometric patterns created by nature. Transportation of supplies to Ozegahara is carried out manually by porters, who carry heavy loads piled high along mountain paths, even on rainy days.
