Repairing and patching rendered walls
This video tutorial shows you how to repair render on walls where the render is blown and has come loose from the masonry surface. First we chop off the old render with a Hilti Gun or similar electric chisel, them we prepare the brickwork for rendering by filling all the holes and painting the wall with SBR. The render is applied in two coats and rubbed down smooth using a wooden or polyurethane float. For help and advice with rendering, see our project page here: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects...
