Sam Shamoun explain to christians during bible study whether Moses saw God or not , we see that Yahweh in the old testament allowed him to see his back and even a bit of his glory by doing so but it was only because he was placed on a rock revealing that it was Jesus who was the meaning behind all of it. The reason why God did not allow moses to see his face was because he wanted to see it in full glory as it is in heaven which he replied he could not see him and live. The Bible makes clear no one can truly see and know God without the Son revealing himself to them.
