Discovering DELAWARE: Beaches, boardwalks, & Assateague Island!

Join us this week as we explore Delaware's coast, as well as visit the Maryland district of Assateague Island! In this video, we share with you our experience camping at Delaware Seashore State Park, just outside of Rehoboth Beach, DE. We check out a hiking trail, the beach, and visit the Indian River Inlet Life Saving Station. We also visit a couple of other Delaware state parks, including Holts Landing State Park and Cape Henlopen State Park! We also briefly explore the beach towns of Bethany Beach and Rehoboth Beach, each with a unique boardwalk with ocean beach access and shops, restaurants, and more! We couldn't pass up on trying some Thrasher's French Fries on the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk! We also explored the small town of Lewes, Delaware, the site of the first European settlement in the state. In this video, we also share our experience visiting the Maryland district of Assateague Island National Seashore. Assateague Island is home to wild horses, which you can find all over the island!
