Tech Tip I Switching Welding Positions - T600 I Miller Weldmaster

Position 1 (Double Roller) is where you’ll have your table up so you can do your larger overlaps, hems and all your exterior seams. When switching to a different position, you’ll need to keep in mind that the table is pretty heavy that you're going to need two people to remove it. Beforehand, you’ll need to loosen both these knobs. They are slotted so we can just lift it up and move it out of the way. And then back of the machine there are two other knobs. Those ones you have to pull all the way out and then you can remove it. Now that the knobs are out of the way, you can lift up one side of the table and then you'll bring it around outside the T600. Position 2 (Swing Arm Down) is where you would do your inflatables and any round curves you pivot off of using this position. For Position 3 (Swing Arm Down), you’re going to be swinging the beam up in order to create tubes. The first thing to do is to unscrew the third knob from the beam so it's not bouncing all around. Pull it out and it’ll loosen the beam that's preset. We're going to take out the bolts on top and underneath. Unscrew the last bolt on the side and pull out the beam. Once you get your beam up, swing this around, get it square up and put the knobs back into positioned.
