Huge thanks to Riley for putting this together on such short notice. This song is so fun and different from the stuff I normally cover that I wanted the visuals to match the vibes. I think it turned out super cool. Don't expect all of my videos to be this cool, though. Riley will only be doing videos for a handful of my covers going forward. But keep an eye out for his work! I remember at the beginning of the month when I heard Dance in the Game for the first time. I thought "this is impossible, there's no way". And then I ended up playing it on repeat constantly for a week or so, and by the middle of the month, I was like "you know what... I'm gonna try it". And this is the result. I'm actually really proud of this. For a song that's a pretty drastic departure from my normal style, I think this turned out really cool. Of course, I had to make it more on the rock side too or it wouldn't be a real Silver Storm cover, would it? Naturally, being a fan of the show really helped the lyrics, too. It focuses heavily on the intricacies of human relationships, especially given stakes and a competitive atmosphere. These lyrics are actually some of my favorites I've ever written.
