They are pleading with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul to listen. The song has garnered over a million views, much to the mothers' delight, reflecting their heartfelt message to the government: "Suddenly I became rich because I didn't meet the welfare card criteria." These mothers are from Buriram province and work in rice farming and livestock raising. Today, they have become "social media stars," with several videos racking up millions of views thanks to their music and creativity. Mae Marin Klaahan, 52, the founder of the page, teamed up with other elderly women in her village to create music videos reflecting social issues, particularly the ineligibility criteria for the government's welfare card, or "poor person's card," which some members have been denied due to the Ministry of Finance's guidelines. The mother of one of the band members shared a new song with fans, titled "Dee Jai" (Happy). It hasn't been released anywhere yet, and Channel 7HD is the first channel to play it. Grandma Joi, one of the band members, explained that she does own land but has divided it among her children. Due to the transfer process, she's never received her government welfare card. She hopes someone with expertise can help her understand the obstacles in her case. However, the grandmothers said they are happy for those in their village who have received the welfare card.
