We Found Paradise in FAKARAVA 🇵🇫 French Polynesia’s Hidden Gem

#frenchpolynesia #travel After exploring the iconic lagoons of Bora Bora, our next stop took us somewhere even more remote - the stunning atoll of Fakarava, part of the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia. Known for its untouched beauty, relaxed pace of life, and world-class diving, Fakarava is also a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The marine life here is incredible - from the famous Wall of Sharks in the South Pass, where hundreds of grey reef sharks gather, to thriving coral reefs and huge schools of fish, it feels like stepping into a documentary. In this video, we fly from Bora Bora to Fakarava, explore the island by bike, dive in one of the world’s best shark spots, snorkel in remote lagoons, and visit some of the most peaceful beaches we’ve ever seen. We finish the trip on Tahiti, road-tripping around the island, visiting volcanic black sand beaches, and stopping at Teahupo’o, home of the 2024 Olympic surfing events. This was one of the most unforgettable parts of our adventure in French Polynesia - a perfect mix of wild nature, underwater exploration, and island serenity.
