Zuihoden, the mausoleum of Date Masamune, has previously held events and lectures titled "Masamune History Academy" on Masamune's birthday (August 3, 1567). In light of the current situation, this year we have decided to hold the lectures at the venue instead of an in-person event. Instead, we have produced an introductory video of Zuihoden by the Date Bushotai, which will be released on August 3, 2020. This video is full of little-known anecdotes, such as why Date Masamune ordered the construction of his tomb at its current location and what Kyogamine was like before the mausoleum was built.
