Denza B5 EV Only Range Test – Stock Tyres vs AT Tyres Final Benchmark

In this second part of our EV Only Range Test on the Denza B5, we run the exact same route again, this time on stock wheels and tyres. Same vehicle, same setup, same conditions as Part 1 (   • Denza B5 EV Range: How Much do AT Tyres RE...  ) where we tested it on 33.2” Predator Mutants with 18” Koya forged wheels. Both tests were completed starting at 100% battery and finishing at 25% SOC in Pure EV mode. The goal was simple: real world comparison between aggressive AT tyres and factory stock wheels on the same stretch of road. Final benchmark results: • 33.2” Predator Mutants / 18” Koya Forged Wheels Distance: 95 km Battery Left: 25% • Stock Wheels & Tyres Distance: 102.4 km Battery Left: 28% That’s a noticeable difference over the same route, showing how tyre choice can directly impact EV-only efficiency and range on the Denza B5. Keep in mind, these numbers are real-world results. The tests were not conducted in a controlled environment. Wind, traffic, temperature and other external factors may have influenced the outcome. That said, both runs were done under comparable conditions to keep the comparison fair. If you’re running bigger AT tyres or planning a wheel upgrade, this is something worth considering.
