University does NOT prepare you for the future. It’s just a training ground. Think of it like a gym membership. Paying fees gets you access to the equipment — labs, lectures, people. But nobody will lift the weights for you. You can spend 4 years here and still come out weak if YOU don’t put in the work. Your certificate is just an entry ticket. Skills, mindset, and network keep you in the room. The real degree? Learning to lead, speak up, manage money, and build something outside class. NONE of that is on your transcript, but ALL of it decides your future. I’m at GCTU, and the people winning are using these 4 years to build portfolios, skills, and side hustles.
