Network Camping EP4, Family Overlanding on the 'Wild Atlantic Way' in Ireland in a Land Rover D3/LR3

Network Camping, the idea of trying to find places we can wild camp from within our own network of friends, see how we get on in this series. Maybe share similar experiences you have had in the comments. This one was more difficult than the others, squally weather overnight and the challenges of tidal restrictions on access, but we learned a lot and enjoyed as much. If everyone camped with friends sometimes we would open up a huge additional volume of options when viewed as a collective even though each may only be available to a select few. Keeping where we camp a secret is in some ways driving the idea of Overlanding Underground, but yet sharing locations online can over burden a place with visitors. Perhaps we should share our camp sites, not in order to guide others there, but rather to inspire others to find their own. We are a family of four, plus a dog, camping in a Land Rover Discovery 3. The tent is a Howling Moon 1.8m stargazer. The D3/LR3 is fitted with a traxide dual battery system in the engine bay. This is paired with an Optima yellow top battery which runs an ARB 47Ltr fridge. The fire pit is by Drifta, the more we camp, the more we see evidence of the damage done without one of these. A fold out Dokia 150W 18V solar panel is more than capable of keeping things charged up when camped, including camera, drone and camp lights. All footage is taken on an iPhone 12 Pro, a Gopro 9, and a Mavic 2 zoom drone.
