VERY HARD BOEING 747 LANDING on a wet runway

I don` t know why, but it happened again. After my Silkway Boeing 747 video three months ago this Atlas Air Boeing 747 smashed on the runway at Maastricht Airport last week. I filmed three Boeing 747 landings at Maastricht this year and two of them were incredibly hard. I don` t know what` s the reason for these hard landings, probably the small hill near the threshold causes the pilots to misjudge the heights of the runway. Atlas Air is one of my favorite airlines and an Atlas Boeing 747-400 was the first Boeing 747 I saw in 2003. The B747 (N412MC) operated a few flghts for Turkish Cargo. It arrived from Nairobi and departed back to the homebase of TK Cargo, Istanbul. Atlas Air operates 26 Boeing 747`s and 19 Boeing 767` s. Whenever you listen to the ATC and a "Giant" callsign shows up you know that Atlas Air isn` t far away. Thanks for watching.
