Oldest Salt Mine, Europes Longest Slide, Funicular, Caves, Biking, Hiking, Cruises, Hallstatt has it all! We find a great Motorhome Parkup for €28 per night in this Iconic Austrian Destination. We nearly didn't visit Hallstatt following the reports in the news of overcrowding and the locals not being happy with tourists. We are so glad we did, sure the town is a little busy but overall no more so than other tourist places in Austria.
