HEC RAS 2D - Modelling Floodways Part 1

Today, we will be covering a two part series that involves developing a Floodway in HEC-RAS 2D. This demo within the two part series uses a combination of RAS-MAPPER and QGIS to initially buffer the floodway encroachments. Once these floodway encroachments are initially buffered within QGIS, then we will shape the encroachments with the reshape features tool in QGIS. The first part of the series involves developing the Floodway and the second part of the series involves post processing of the floodway polygon. Make sure to like and subscribe to the channel!
