In this lesson, we'll learn a blues solo in A using the famous twelve-bar structure. We'll use the minor pentatonic scale to create the main melody. We'll also add different notes to the pentatonic scale to emphasize each chord. The twelve-bar blues uses three seventh chords. In the key of A, these three chords are A7, D7, and E7. Learn the structure and how to play this blues solo in just a few steps. Good luck. Marco. COPYRIGHT INFORMATION (AND BAD EXPERIENCE) All the music played in my instructional videos is registered with the SIAE (Italian Society of Authors and Publishers) and subscribed to the YouTube program called Content ID. This program scans all videos uploaded to YouTube and flags videos containing my music as copyright infringement. This is a choice made to avoid copyright issues in the event that someone decides to use the instrumental audio found at the beginning of the video. In the past, a singer-songwriter used the instrumental audio found at the beginning of one of my videos to create his own song. Not satisfied, he uploaded the song to streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. The song was also registered with YouTube's Content ID program, which flagged MY video for copyright infringement. I can assure you that it's not nice to receive a copyright infringement from someone using your music. After several emails, the copyright on my video was removed, and the singer-songwriter removed the song from all streaming platforms, apologizing. Therefore, I ask you NOT to USE the instrumental audio found at the beginning of the video to create your own samples, songs, or remixes. This teaching material is designed to explain musical concepts, harmonic progressions, and melodies. You can use the techniques learned in the lessons to create your own music. Study, assimilate the information, and reuse it to create your own music. Thank you very much, and enjoy this lesson.
