CARA MENGGUNAKAN OFTALMOSKOP (How to use ophthalmoscope)

Thank you to Dr. Julie Dewi Barliana, Sp.M(K), M. Biomed, a teaching staff member in the Pediatric Ophthalmology Division, Department of Eye Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (RSCM), and her team for sharing how to use an ophthalmoscope and guiding them through filling out an eye screening card for toddlers. We hope that early detection of eye cancer (retinoblastoma) using this medical device can improve the survival rate/life expectancy of children with retinoblastoma in Indonesia. Until now, children are often diagnosed too late, potentially risking their lives and losing their eyes and sight. According to experts, retinoblastoma is the second most common type of childhood cancer in Indonesia after leukemia. The Anyo Indonesia Foundation (YAI), in addition to providing Rumah Anyo, a temporary residence for pediatric cancer patients referred to hospitals in Jakarta, is also actively working to save children from cancer through childhood cancer education for medical personnel at community health centers (Puskesmas), family planning (PKK) cadres, and the general public. By joining hands, we can help save children from cancer. #20to60in2030 #JoinHandstoIncreaseSurvivalRateIn2030 #ChildhoodCancerAwareness #supportkidswithcancer
