For this tier list I brought along Kappy to discuss and explain the strengths and weaknesses of each partner. We both play a lot of Paper Mario, so we decided to make this comprehensive guide for people who want to improve their game. Also it's just kind of an excuse for us to casually talk about a game we both love. This is in no way meant to be "the only way to play the game". Play how you want and have fun playing a great game! Partners are a lot more limited in what they can do and have very similar attributes. Because of this, the rankings are based on very minor differences. Besides a couple of partners that stand out in very specific ways, most partner utility depends on the situation. 64's meta mainly revolves around Mario, so the partner who can assist Mario in the cheapest way possible is usually considered better.
