McFarlane's DC Multiverse - BATMAN Year One & Year Two - 7 inch figures!

Since I got both these fellas about the same time, I thought, why not do a vid of both! I read both comics in the 80's and early 90's and loved them both, and the figures really round out my 7 inch Batman comics based collection! I didn't do that much cosmetically to either figure. For Year One I sprayed the entire body, after masking off the cape, with Mr Hobby Mr Super Clear Matt spray, and this very much de-glossed and de-toyed his look. I paint matched the cool metallic sheen of the cape to his cowl (only...the rest I left alone), and repainted the skin color and features of his face, so it was not so pale and bland looking. I chose for now to leave his ears alone, and not sharpen them, as they kinda looked cool to me as they were. I may change that in the future also. The Year Two was even easier. I didn't have to spray his suit, as the company (who is learning!) had already done so. I did repaint his facial features, and removed the somewhat clunky gun holster rig. I felt he looked better without it, even though it is featured in the comic. I may remake one at a later date. I also sharpened his ears and painted over the painted black "comics lines" prevalent all over the costume, making the blue one cohesive color. The blue I used was a perfect matching out of the bottle Vallejo Dark Blue #70.930. Not much else to add. I am sad to see these coming to an end next year, so I am looking forward to whatever is left for McFarlane to release! I hope they go for it! LIKE! SUBSCRIBE! COMMENT! Til next time... Les out!
