SHINHOTAKA: Ropeway and Private Onsen Experience | Shinhotaka Vlog

We had a 12-day trip in Japan between 6-18 November. Landed in Osaka, then we traveled to Kanazawa, Shirakawa-go, Takayama, Shinhotaka, back to Takayama, then Kanazawa again, and eventually Kyoto and Osaka before we flew back to Singapore! It was a lot of travel but we had a wonderful time doing this trip! Watch our Japan vlog to see how we manage and some tips and tricks we found out during the trip. From Takayama, we traveled for 1.5h by Nohi bus to Shinhotaka Base Station - from which we went up by cable car all the way to Nishihotakaguchi Station (in total it took less than 30 mins to reach the top). We had lunch at the top station, experienced snow fall amid autumn while surrounded by the Japanese Alps, and then we went down to the Shirakabadaira Station and experienced foot onsen there. Afterwards, we went to our private onsen hotel Yukimurasaki, and enjoyed a lot of onsen sessions in our hotel room and at the hotel rooftop. The hotel provided a 3-hour long course meal dinner and also an elaborate breakfast the day after.
