Delaney Davidson - TUMBLEWEED OFFICIAL VIDEO

Tumbleweed is film collaboration between Falling Films, Martin Sagadin and Chris Reddington. The miniature footage of the train is all my dads train set that I ended up inheriting. I remember thinking I am sure I can do something with this. We spent some time in old childhood haunts of mine. Woolston railway tracks and the Port Hills. It’s amazing how many old threads are woven through this song and how much of it feels like rediscovering things in a new context. Tumbleweed started in the old house I first moved to in Switzerland. It used to belong to my great Aunty in law and is now the Kendra Jane Patrick Gallery. Beginning with the rhythms of Tone Loc I worked with Pierre Omer (originally from the Dead Brothers), and it grew to be a representation of fresh beginnings and the idea of there always being a new opportunity.
