Garifuna Indigenous people of St Vincent and the Grenadines and Belize

Interviews were conducted in the Districts of Fancy, Owia, Espagnol Point, Sandy Bay Old and New, Sion Hill, Griggs, Rose Banks, Carib Village in Campden Park, Kingstown, and other places. These people believe that they were in St. Vincent and the Grenadines before Mr. Christopher Columbus and the British colonized their island. in fact, they believed that Black people were in the Caribbean over 900 years before Columbus.
