Seymour Duncan Jupiter/Sentient Set Demo

Seymour Duncan Jupiter: http://bit.ly/2xwp74O You can also find Jupiter from these fine stores: https://axepalace.com http://www.drumcityguitarland.com Since the Jupiter was released this January, I've gotten a lot of questions about what neck pickup to pair it with. TBH, I get along with most neck pickups and I rarely use them for gain sounds. I've gotten to check out a lot of SD's pickups over the years and I've really found a good home with the Sentient model in the neck. Its fat and PAF-y, but still hot enough to pair with the Jupiter. I don't typically go for split sounds either but the Jupiter pulls off my absolute favorite split sounds to date. Because of it's 18.5 DCR, Kevin Beller (lead engineer at SD and legend) explained that higher DCR mags typically make for a darker and bigger sound. So when you split with the Jupiter, it won't get overly glassy and harsh. I chose a tune to show how these sounds work in a less Extreme Metal sort of application. Many thanks to all of you who have been putting the Jupiter in your guitars. Hopefully this demo will help you make a decision about a neck pickup pairing.
