[Ingredients] (Serves 2-3) Bell peppers…5 Ground mixed meat…300g White bread…1 slice (if 8 slices) or 1/2 slice (if 4 slices) Milk…4 tablespoons Onion…1/2 (finely chopped) Salt…1/3 to 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg…to taste Coarsely ground black pepper…a pinch (to taste) [Sauce] Ketchup…4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce…2 tablespoons Mentsuyu (noodle soup base)…a small amount [Instructions] ① Tear the bread into pieces and soak in milk. ② Finely chop the onion. ③ Add the bread, onion, salt, nutmeg, and coarsely ground black pepper to the ground mixed meat and mix well until sticky. ④ Stuff the meat mixture firmly into the bell peppers cut in half. ⑤ Cook in a frying pan, starting with the meat side down, and flip when browned. ⑥ Add 2 tablespoons of sake (not included in the ingredients list), cover, and steam-fry for 7-8 minutes. ⑦ If there is any remaining liquid, remove the lid and let it evaporate. ⑧ Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and a small amount of mentsuyu, mix well, and it's done!
