SMRT Takes Joo Koon and Tuas

On September 15, 2024, SMRT Buses had taken over the operations at Joo Koon and Tuas which was previously on the hands of SBS Transit for over 50 years. Bus services which operated between in and out of these areas now handed to SMRT, are still operating as usual with the same fleet of buses which were once on SBS Transit. Unlike in Boon Lay, the liveries of the buses left untouched. It is also Tranch 2 of the Jurong West Bus Package, as bus services like Express service 502, 182, and 974 are now being operated by them.
