Fracture Care for Emergency Medicine
There are 3 types of fracture care, palliative care, restorative care and definitive care. Palliative care by definition is an approach to healthcare that is concerned primarily with attending to physical and emotional comfort rather than effecting a cure. Definitive care is the completion of recommended treatment. Restorative Care is a remedy that aids in restoring health. We will also go over splint codes, modifiers and RVUs.
