"Galicia" from the Ballet "Sorolla" composed by Juan J. Colomer. Best new music from Spain series. Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid (ORCAM), conducted by Manuel Coves. The Ballet is based on Sorolla's Murals at the Hispanic Society in NY, depicting traditional scenes from different parts of Spain. "Sorolla" was commissioned and premiered with Ballet Nacional de España, June 12th, 2013. The composition has also been very successful as a symphonic suite with selected movements.
