Crossfire/SLK: TCM Reset without Mercedes Star Diagnostic Tool
If your CrossFire is in limp mode and you have changed out the conductor plate you must rest the internally stored code in the TCM. To do this you need access to Mercedes' STAR software however, I have found a cheap alternative that will erase the stored code thus taking the car out of limp mode.
