Quality Hide Glue From Scratch #6, part 2, Cutting and Drying

After pouring out the glue it is cooled and cut into cubes or strips before drying. Drying hide glue can be tricky. If it heats up too much while it is still very wet, it will melt and run. Air circulation and moderate temperatures are required until the glue is mostly dry. The dried glue can be stored indefinitely.
