Lake Garda Run Part 1: 850 km of pure madness on a Harley-Davidson. The motorcycle trip to Lake Garda begins with a road trip, highways, fuel stops, rain, bike problems, hotel arrival, and a true biker adventure. Hey everyone, Today the Lake Garda Run starts! In this first episode, we take you along on the first major leg of our Harley-Davidson motorcycle trip towards Lake Garda. 850 kilometers of pure madness, and that's just the beginning of the tour. From northern Germany, we're heading towards southern Germany, with our first stop being Sommerberg and the Hotel Zur Post. But as always, it's not just about arriving, but everything that happens along the way. 🏍️ Preparation, departure, motorway, refueling stops, conversations along the way, minor problems with the bike, rain, sun, cold, warmth, breaks, food, new acquaintances and plenty of real road trip moments. For Dirk, this is his first really big tour, and a leg of over 850 kilometers right off the bat. You quickly realize: a journey like this writes its own stories. You plan a route, but the real memories are made along the way. 💪 Things weren't entirely relaxed for me either. You can clearly see in the video that my tires were nearing the end of their lifespan. The tread depth was really getting to me. I've since put on new tires and the driving experience is completely different—but there's more to it than that, of course. The Lake Garda Run begins exactly like a real motorcycle trip begins: with anticipation, tiredness, changing weather, minor problems, awesome encounters and the feeling that the journey itself is the real adventure.
