A drive through Walton-on-Thames

Sunday August 8 2021 at 7.36 am. Walton is a town of about 23,000 people in North-West Surrey. The drive starts on the 6th Walton bridge (opened in 2013) on Walton Bridge Road which becomes New Zealand Avenue after the traffic lights (there was a hospital for New Zealand soldiers here in WW1). After a full circuit of the small one way system, we drive along the High Street turning right into Church street at the end. When the town has been left behind, the drive returns to the junction at the end of the High Street and crosses into Hepworth Way which becomes Bridge Road. At the end on the right, Walton Bridge can just been seen again.
