From Lake Coatepeque, we took a 2 hour drive (with traffic) to our hotel in Santa Tecla. After resting for the night, we embarked on our journey through San Salvador's busy city center. On the way, we learned about the diverse history at the national palace and soaked in the beautiful architectural designs of the oldest and most modern Cathedral churches in the country. Afterwards, we went on a EL SALVADOR FOOD TOUR and tried the nuegado de yuca, pan de pavo, and PAPUSAS!
